GAUDER NAMED VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER OF COMCAST NASHVILLE

Comcast has promoted John Gauder to vice president and general manager of its Nashville operations.

He has been Comcast’s senior area director of marketing since January 2003, and he has 22 years of experience in cable TV. Gauder has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. He and his wife, Penny, have an 11-year-old daughter, Ally, and live in Franklin.

Gauder replaces Virgil Caudill, whom Comcast recently appointed regional vice president over all or part of four Southern states.
