In March, the Knox Area Literacy Project, sponsored by Felicia Bradley, Comcast Knoxville Dispatch Manager, took place at Fair Garden Family and Community Service Center in Knoxville.

Fifty Knoxville Comcast employees volunteered to participate in educating and entertaining the students of Fair Garden Family and Community Service Center. The volunteers read books and took pictures. Goodie bags were distributed to the 147 students.

Bucket truck tours by Comcast Maintenance Technicians were offered for the children. Comcast employees also dressed as the children’s favorite fictional characters. Knox Area Literacy Project is part of the Fundamental of Leadership Program in which Felicia Bradley participates, after being nominated and selected nationally.
